Korsar was owned by Jack Mc. Keon one time Commodore of Royal St. George Yacht Club, Dun Laoghaire in the 1970s. In the Fastnet race of ’79 he retired and headed to Dunmore East.
Gay Gannet III was owned by Archie O’Leary of Royal Munster Yacht Club at about the same time.
Malaise was owned by Noel Speidel of Howth Yacht Club.
All raced extensively in offshore races.
