The Yacht’s Story
email from owners, April 2014:
We know she is finished as a ‘luxury’ version of the S&S34, since we have a lot of nice woodwork, a big salon with U couch and wheel steering. There could be an interesting story behind. We also asked some other organisations about this boat, thanks to some details found onboard, but with limited success.
The Luigjes owned the boat not until 2009, but even only till 2008 – I’ve found an old sales contract. We are sure the boat was finished at J.M.J Marine – it’s mentioned in an old add for this boat and the owner of the same looking boat (the same rare windows) told us that his S&S34 was finished there as well. So we surely know about the Aquafibre + J.M.J Marine connection, it’s probably the most possible building history.
(Webmaster note: I think probably the boat was constructed by Aquafibre but finished off and fitted out in France, presumably by JMJ Marine).
