The Yacht’s Story
She was originally built for Dr Delbridge from Victoria, who entered her in the 1976 Sydney-Hobart race. She placed 55th on handicap from 95 entries. She was later bought by Heinz Cirotzki and moved to Port Lincoln, South Australia. She and Heinz were spotted there by Peter Connor (Kungari’s owner) in early 2001 when he was over there competing in the national Sharpie championships (as reported in the Association Newsletter). She was purchased by John Lovegrove in 2017 with the intention to cruise locally.
