While randomly searching for something else I ran across:
http://www.sopyc.com.au/media/geraldton_ocean_classic_race_programme_2010.pdf
Where a Ron Clarke sailing NADIA is credited with winning the measured Fremantle to Geraldton in 1981. He also won the ‘Ugly Man Award’ in 1982 and had RPYC listed as home club.
For what it’s worth that’s what I’ve tripped over and I hope it’s anything like useful to you.

I purchased Tardis in February 2023 on Sydney Harbour. She had been re-named Cardinal and is now named Safari. After purchase I sailed her to my homeport of Cairns. I’ve spent time refitting deck fittings and electrical. I’m now re finishing the interior, which had been started by a previous owner. I’ve been very impressed with the boat so far and am looking forward to some extended cruising in the future.
