The Yacht’s Story
From Stephen Mitchell, son of Keith, in 2008:
My father Keith Mitchell, was the original owner of, hull #23, Morning Glory.
Having spent many hours inside, outside, and stretched out in the yacht during
the fitout, and sailing aboard her, I was intrigued to see your listing
showing as well as my father, A.D.M.Green as an “original owner”.

I recently asked my father about this, and his response was that he (and
probably the bank), was the only original owner.

After some thought he reminded me that a David Green purchased the yacht, from
my father, in 1976, and renamed the yacht Pamela, and moved her to RPYC from
RFBYC.

Webmaster’s note: Looking carefully at Swarbrick’s list it does
look as though ADM Green and “Pamela” may have been added later when she changed
hands in 1976.
From Graham Norton Jan 2009:
Pamela was sold to John Summers, a dentist in
Albany who renamed her Tael (a Chinese coin) I bought her from John on 13.5.84 and renamed
her Sea Honey which was the name of my previously owned 40 ft ferro cement
sloop.
