The Yacht’s Story
Perie Banou III was originally launched as Amazing Grace and owned by Ron Smith. It is believed he bought her incomplete from her original owner, and so far the exact hull number hasn’t been traced. He sold her to Rodney and Elizabeth Popham in May 1985, who wrote a letter to the Association notifying of the name change to “Klipspringer” and kept her at PFS. She was later sold to Steve Barlow and then bought by Col Sanders in 1992 who renamed her “Perie Banou III”.
